These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CSV File Tools and its CSV editor for ChatGPT, operated by Shipit Software LTD ("Company", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the practices in our Privacy Policy.
CSV editor for ChatGPT
Open only files you are authorized to access and edit. Choosing Save changes the opened file managed by ChatGPT when ChatGPT permits writing. Download CSV creates a separate copy and does not save changes to the opened file. Review your edits and keep your own backups before saving. Unsaved edits and limited undo history are lost when the editor closes or reloads.
The editor supports UTF-8 CSV files up to 5 MiB, 50,000 cells, and 200 columns. It treats values as text and does not evaluate formulas or scripts. Other spreadsheet software may interpret formulas when you open a downloaded file. ChatGPT availability, permissions, and file handling are provided by OpenAI and remain subject to its separate terms and your account settings.
Loam-backed analysis and CSV Viewer MCP
SQL analysis supports CSV and Parquet files up to 5 GiB and uses Loam to store and query uploaded data. The separate CSV Viewer MCP also uses Loam and requires you to be authorized for the governed data. Review every preview and result. Creating a cleaned view changes workspace state by adding a new object, even though it does not replace the source. Keep credentials and authorization tokens confidential and revoke access you no longer need.
Allowed usage
You may use the viewer for lawful CSV files you are authorized to access. Do not use the site to infringe another person's rights, break the law, bypass usage or security controls, disrupt the service, distribute malicious content, or attempt to discover non-public source code or underlying systems.
Your files and outputs
You retain responsibility for the files you select, paste, merge, convert, or download and must have the rights needed to use them. Keep your own source files and backups. Check viewed, merged, and converted data before relying on it. Parsing, delimiter detection, schema inference, header mapping, sorting, filters, and formula protection are practical aids, not guarantees of completeness or suitability.
Intellectual property
You keep rights in your files and generated outputs. The site, interface, documentation, branding, and underlying software remain the property of the Company or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
Availability and disclaimers
The utility is provided as available without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free parsing, or that an output will meet a particular purpose. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for loss of use, data, goodwill, profits, or for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the site. We are not responsible for source files or exports stored on your device. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending access
You may stop using CSV File Tools at any time. We may restrict or end access if you breach these Terms, create a security risk, misuse the service, or if we are required to do so by law.
Privacy policy
Our Privacy Policy explains how files and ordinary request data are processed when you use the service.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above shows the latest revision. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without limiting any mandatory protections that apply where you live.
